With that being said, it's a good time to discuss current affairs in the One Piece story, particularly the next crew member. We have already seen one antagonist turn face and join the Strawhats, she being Robin. His character does not seem like one that holds true contempt for anyone, so it's likely his character will also turn face. He was shown being manipulated by his mother, and he is expected to become an antagonist for the Strawhats. My prediction is Caesar Clown. So who will likely be the next Strawhat?
In chapter 811, we saw him help the Strawhats save the Minks from the poison gas that nearly wiped them out. Sanji also mentioned redemption and Caesar in the same conversation, so it is possible that Caesar's character will redeem himself after all the horrible things he has done. Caesar would be an interesting addition to the Strawhats since they don't have a scientist in their crew. It will be curious to see just how he supplements the crew and improves them with his abilities as a scientist.
